2025 CGCC Carol Edwards Excellence in Mathematics Junior High School Registration

The Junior High and High School EIM competitions will be on the same date, but students will compete against other students at the same mathematical level. While both junior high students and high school students will compete on the same day, we will have two competition levels - one for each.
The competition will consist of a collaborative team activity and there will be no individual, multiple choice exams. Rather, all teams will compete by working on producing a well communicated solution to an extended problem-solving situation. After the allotted time, each team will present their solution to a team of CGCC judges and winners will be determined using a scoring rubric.
Please note that registration is limited to one team of 4 students per school. School sponsors/teachers will need to reserve a spot quickly as registration will end when the spots are filled. You can enter a 2nd team on a waiting list whose entry will be considered in chronological order of registration if there are any openings left after the registration date passes.
Cost: Cost per student is $10.00. All registration fees are non-refundable.
