The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at CGCC aims to support female engineering and STEM majors through professional development and social programming. To maximize student engagement and motivation through the rigorous STEM program, we seek funding to send our officers and members to the annual national SWE conference. The Greater Southwest Aviation Maintenance Technician Symposium is a professional aviation event focused on advancing knowledge, safety, and best practices in aircraft maintenance. Hosted by Chandler-Gilbert Community College at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the symposium brings together aviation maintenance technicians, inspectors, educators, students, and industry professionals for technical training, regulatory updates, and industry engagement. The symposium serves as an FAA-supported IA seminar, offering valuable educational sessions, networking opportunities, and exposure to current trends and technologies in aviation maintenance.
